      Check for activation of Windows Server 2019 Essential Product Key bought from DELL Thailand.

      Steps to Check Product Key Activation Check the Current Server: If possible, boot into Windows on the DELL PowerEdge T640 (if it’s still installed) and check the activation status: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation. This will show if Windows is activated and provide the product key details. Use Command Prompt: Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following command: slmgr /xpr This will indicate if Windows is activated and whether it's a permanent activation. Contact DELL Support Again: If you can't access the server, consider reaching out to DELL support again. Provide them with the purchase details and ask if they can help verify the product key status based on your purchase record. Check Documentation: Review any documentation or emails related to the purchase. Sometimes, activation details are included in the original paperwork. Using the Key on a New Server: If the key is not activated, you should be able to use it on a new DELL server. However, it's best to confirm this with Microsoft or DELL support, as licensing terms can vary. Consider a Third-party Tool: There are third-party tools that can help you retrieve the product key from the current installation of Windows, if accessible. Next Steps If you find that the key is still available for use, ensure that you have all necessary documentation for activation on the new server.

      Remove Legacy OS Forums

      I'm still saying remove them. They are closed anyway. If someone is still using an old EOL OS they leave themselves open for all sorts of bad stuff.

      I want to now my recovery key

      Try these steps. If they fail post back and I'll take another look. . Microsoft Account If you linked your BitLocker to your Microsoft account, you can find your recovery key by: Visiting the Microsoft recovery key page. Signing in with your Microsoft account. Checking for the recovery key associated with your device. 2. USB Drive If you saved the recovery key to a USB drive, insert the USB drive into your computer and check for a text file containing the key. 3. Printout If you printed the recovery key when setting up BitLocker, check your physical documents for a printed copy. 4. Active Directory If your computer is part of a domain, your IT department may have stored the recovery key in Active Directory. Contact them for assistance. 5. Local Device If you saved the recovery key as a file on your device, search your files for a text document that may contain the key. 6. System Administrator If you are using a work or school computer, reach out to your system administrator for help in retrieving the recovery key. Important Note Keep your recovery key in a safe place to prevent losing access to your encrypted data in the future.
