RE: Windows XP Fax Services I have Windows XP Home Edition. The intruction given so far gives you a much weak fax program. It allows only a fax cover to be sent: not any pages beyound that. I will be posting a question about upgrading to XP Professional: if it has a true fax program -- RICHARD "MelanieM" wrote: > I am wondering how to set up Windows to send and receive faxes. I once knew how to remove or add items to the list that appears when one right mouse clicks on a file but I not longer recall how to do it. I have TweakUI but cannot find it there. Is there another utility that lets you modify the list of things various programs add to that right mouse menu? Thanks. Jeff

Intermittent file copy failures

Hello, I have an issue whereby only after moving the server to Win2k3 x64 the file copy is failing. It is in the same environment as before being used just as it was before now only x64. In the past there wasn't a problem when it was x86. We're copying a SQL backup file from the server to a network drive on a x86 server. I have partially resolved the problem in that some of the errors that were being logged in the event log were caused by NetBIOS issues (changed the setting to use NetBIOS over TCP/IP). There was a period where it was always failing after the same amount of time but that is not not the case. the original x86 server still exists so I've …

Hi all, I hope this question finds all doing fairly well. I had terrible time try to install clean copy of Vista Business. I finally wiped my hard drive clean again and reinstalled Window XP Home edition, which has a weak crummy fax program. One can only send a cover sheet with no following pages. I would like to upgrade to XP Professional if it had full true fax program. Does anyone know if it does? Thanks in advance. -- RICHARD

When I power down my machine I get the BSOD with an "irq not less than equal to" and a physical memory dump. The system works fine, it's just when I either reboot or shut down that I get this. When it happens I have to hold the power button for a few seconds to shut the machine down. Any suggestions?? Thanks! Eddie G
