I am attempting to correct the local Group Policy on a DC running Windows 2003. I am following step 2 of the following KB http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/933994 My policy is suddenly missing the entries which does not allow the network connection to come up, unfortunately group policy will not allow me to make changes while the network is down...I seem to be stuck in a loop with this one. Is there anyway I can force add the Administrators group to the correct key?

I wish to publish an application using citrix/terminal services on 2003 server. The issue is, I can run the application on the server using an admin account, but not using a domain user account. Error message is "run time error 31037, error loading from file". I have run a Process Monitor session in the background, but cannot see any file/registry permission issues. Are there any suggestions on what I should look for?

When I shut down IE, I get th efollowing message: iexplore.exe – Application Error The instruction at “0x7c9118c5” referenced memory at “0x612c565d”. The memory could not be “read”. Hi, All of a sudden i get the eventid error 22 on my Windows 2000 Licensing Server. When I check with the administrative tool everything seems OK. How can I resolve this problem "The Terminal Services Licensing server 'servername' has no license pack registered for product 'Windows 2000 Terminal Services Client Access License'. Use Terminal Services Licensing administrative tool to register the licenses pack. " When I check with the administrative tool everything seems OK. I already reinstalled the Terminal Server Licensing Server, that didn't change a thing. How can I resolve this problem. Thanks

HI, I use an HP Laserjet printer on WinXP Prof. When i fire a print job, i can see the job in the queue but it does not print. The only way i found to print that job, is to restart the system. When the system reboots and i log on, then the job gets printed. what could be the problem? Now the strange thing is that sometimes it prints fine without a restart. Thanks for any support. Ramesh

Is there anyway to remove the intial settings you have to choose the first you use ie7? These are the setting for anti phishing sites, microsoft user experience etc.

I installed Vista 64 business on a MacPro which has a 7300GT video card in it. Thi machine previously had XPhome without fault. Display went to 4bit color low rez. The 7300GT reported a lack of resources in device manager. I Found and IRQ conflict with PC express bus slot 3. Nothing was in this slot so I disabled it and rebooted. After restart display res was set to 1280 * 1024 no problem with 32bit color. I can not load console software for the video card (for multiscreen support) due the fact that although the 7300GT is working it has disappeared from the device manager list. My boss is having a strange problem with getting Windows Media Player 11 to recognize his USB mp3 players. "We then did all upgrade/patches, including letting it install Window Media Player 11, which I think I generally like. Last week, we tried to connect her iRiver T10 and a new SanDisk Sansa e280. In both cases, when you plug it into a USB2.0 port (only works on the ones on the rear of the PC), it tries to install the device and fails. I'm finding the only way I can FTP files to my webspace is to switch windows firewall off. I guessed there must be a way round this and found a place to add an ftp site to the firewall settings and I think this worked once, but now can only do it with firewall off again. I have another PC at home in England (I'm in France) that works fine without switching the firewall off, so there must be a way?
