Hi everybody! Here's my problem: My taskbar stops responding every time widows XP Home Edition SP3 startup, it freezes or hangs. only ctrl+alt+del works. I formatted my system twic. Checking for processes in Task Manager but nothing that spikes during the activity. I tried to end the explorer process and nothing, but if i start a new process of explorer the windows work ok. Hi, I have a 6 months old computer, and my optical drive disappeared at least 5 times since then, it is very annoying. Only rebooting can fix the problem, else the drive cannot be found either in the computer manager or explorer. No warning or error messages are shown in the event viewer. I extensively tried all suggested solution found on the internet to no avail. Most of them does not even apply to my situation anyway. I never installed any burning program or something that could affect the optical drive, there's no lowerFilter or higherFilter registry key to be found anywhere. Good Day: Every 3rd time I attempt to open the 'Add/Remove' programs screen, it freezes. When I try to 'close' it, an error message says 'Error: This page cannot be closed. If it is being debugged, please resume it or close the debugger first.' Any ideas?

Using XP Pro SP3 and Office 2003 Professional Having issues on websites where I can't copy text from the browser to a Word Document. When I do this, the document freezes permanently. My both Domain controller having Critical Issues. I ran Netdiag and DCdiag but I don't see any serious issue. Not sure what it is called which is why I am asking it this way. In XP, when you open Notebook (as an example) and click on File/Open the window that open has a panel on the left that shows "My Computer", "My Documents", etc. as shortcuts that you can click on. My 2-yr old HP laptop has a blurred and incorrect color (greenish) screen from time to time. It seems when I boot up the Windows, it works fine but after an hour or so the problem appears. If I switch off and use it next day, it works fine but repeat the problem after 1 hour. Can someone give me a guidance if the issue comes from hardware or software before I send to repair centre.
