My son's Dell Laptop suddenly started switching off after a few minutes of surfing so we started it with a repair option through F2, it has gone into start up repair mode and does not seem to fix it, the screen continues in perpetuity to say 'Start up Repair' is checking your system for problems and it does not do anything else.................any ideas what it could be, or how to fix it. The laptop fan does not appear to work either, could that be part of it? Dave
