Desktop icons rearranging themselves

Folks,

I was working this afternoon, and suddenly, for no apparent reason, the

icons on my desktop began to align themselves as if I had them set to Auto

Arrange (I don't). I use a little utility called WinTidy to store the layout

of my icons, so I can easily restore them to their "proper" positions, but

every time I reboot, or even Refresh from the right-click menu, they all go

back to the left-hand side of the screen.

Auto Arrange, as I mentioned before, is not checked; neither is Align to

Grid.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Hi hs,

Apparently Wintidy isn't compatible with SP2.

Well, it hasn't been a problem for the past few years. As I said, this just

started this afternoon, and it happens whether WinTidy happens to be running

or not.
