I establish an IPSec VPN and then use Remote Desktop to work remotely on Windows 7 PCs on that LAN. Since the first Windows 10 PC was added to that LAN the remote connection to that PC keeps freezing. Apparently that is not uncommon and one recommended solution I have seen is to use the App from Windows Store instead. After establishing the tunnel, the original connections are made by simply RDP'ing to a (fixed) ip address on the LAN in the subnet 192.168.1.x. But when I attempt this with the App I get a message "Couldn't connect. We couldn't connect to the remote PC. Make sure that the remote PC is connected....". Well RDP connects just fine, so can anyone make suggestions as to why the App won't? Tricky More... Quote
