Laptop Won't Connect to Wifi At Home But Works Fine Elsewhere

So I upgraded to Windows 10 on my HP Envy a few months back and before that my laptop had no problems. However, now it no longer will connect to my home router. It connects fine to every other wifi router that I've tried to connect to and my roommates' computers can connect to my home network as well as other devices such as my phone and XBOX. I feel like I have tried everything to fix this problem: restarting my computer, resetting the router, doing a hard reset on my computer, making sure all my drivers are up-to-date, anything you can think of. The really weird thing is that some days it will connect to the wifi for a couple of hours but then just as suddenly as it started working again it will stop working and I will be forced to use an Ethernet cable in order to access the internet. If anyone could offer any advice or has seen something like this before I would really appreciate the help.
