Merging Partitions with Boot Partition - Disk Management

Is it possible within Disk Management to merge an empty partition; if there is a boot partition between. For example,

 

[DriveC][450 meg boot partition][Empty Partition]

 

I want to merge the Empty Partition with Drive C; while keeping the boot partition ? Can the boot partition be deleted and re-created after the merge ?
