Have an application, subprint, that is used to move print jobs from web site to local label printer. The software had some issues and needed installed. I uninstalled the software completely and then rebooted the system. On login, I reinstalled the software but at the end of the install, when I click finish, I immediately get an error that the service cant start as its already running. The service / software was not installed anywhere before I reinstalled it so how could it already be running?

I uninstalled it again, went through registry and removed any mention of it, went through folders of users and removed all folders pertaining to it (both in reg user folers and appdata folders), did a search on C for anything named subprint and removed everything I could find outside of the downloaded installer, and went into hosts file and removed the entry it puts in there. Then rebooted, installed the software and the same error came up that it was already running.

The service is not running in task manager, its not listed under startup, and there is no process running for it.

What else could cause this to happen? Looking for some help as I cant rebuild the system and need to get the software running again....
