Guest Dmitry Korolev Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 When launching Sound Control panel, there are no sound devices either in "Playback" or "Recording" tabs. For example, when I have my USB headset plugged in. Headset itself works seamlessly when plugged in another computer. I have already used this headset on this computer, where the problem occurs now. In the Device Manager, headset speakers and microphone are properly detected and displayed when I plug it in. There are no driver errors. There isn't a pending restart for updates or anything, and I did restart several times anyways. I tried uninstalling the device in device manager and rebooting, it changes nothing. What makes it even more interesting, the problem occurred out of nowhere. I was using my headset late evening, then shut down the computer (there were no pending updates or any changes). When I started it next morning, the problem was already there. Any suggestions? I can provide every possible log and technical bit of information, if needed More... Quote
