Guest Msierp Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 I try to do a quick scan and then a regular scan using Microsoft Security Essentials, on my Windows 7 Professional desktop. It stops at 6,591 items-Explorer. The dialog box pops up and states that the app's service stopped. I have run the scan multiple times with the same results. I can turn the security protection back on, and update spyware/malware but still can't complete a scan. More... Quote
