Guest Tapan17 Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Hi All, I noticed that only local Administrators user group are able to apply or remove the provisioning packages. Other users, even users who are members of the Domain Admins and, consequently, are transitive members of the local Administrators group receive the below error when trying to remove the Provisioning Packages : C:\Windows\System32\provtool.exe Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. I have given all the permission to the AD user but still its not working. Also tried the below steps which was found from another thread but still it not working. 1. icacls "C:\Windows\System32\provtool.exe" to check the permission of that tool. 2 . ICACLS "C:\Windows\System32\provtool.exe" /T /Q /C /RESET 3. takeown /F "C:\Windows\System32\provtool.exe" Could you please provide the solution for the above problem. Thanks, Tapan More... Quote
