Guest AbstractCure Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 I noticed recently that in 1903 build 18362.356 (Professional) the system is ignoring a GPO policy: "Set Group Policy refresh interval for users". The default value is 90 minutes and it is what the Windows system incorrectly uses regardless of a setting in GPO that is supposed to change the behavior. I set it to 180 minutes, yet the refresh is happening every 90 minutes (give or take a few due to a default GroupPolicyRefreshTimeOffset = 30). I checked a registry setting on the workstation to make sure the value was applied there. This is what I have: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System, value of GroupPolicyRefreshTime is 180 decimal as expected. Windows 10 is ignoring it. My question is why is it broken and how can I fix it? Thank you. More... Quote
