Guest FinL Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Windows Defender Blocking Kingston Data Traveler encrypted USB thumb drive. The symptom would be after entering the passcode, the thumb drive created another unencrypted drive but it will always gave me a message "Please insert a disk into USB drive", that new drive is not accessible. When I turned off the defender, it will work just fine. I also tried to install a trial anti virus program Avast and it worked just fine. This issue is definitely caused by defender. I created exclusion to folder and files , it did not help. I also checked the controlled folder access and it is turned off. More... Quote
