peet ransomware in windows 10 home single language

my system is affected with peet extension ransomawre

 

all data like images,videos,documents etc. are encrypted only showing me read me.

 

As i googled it it says its a .peet extension ransomware, it will demand money(480-980$) for decryption.

 

total c drive is affected, what should i do ?

 

uninstall the windows and then reinstall it. after reinstall will i get the genuine windows?

 

the windows defender could not able to remove it.and other anti virus could not detect it.

 

please tell me

 

Ransomware will damage my hardware or not?
