Windows 10 download interfeing with windows 7

Windows 10 downloaded onto my PC and tried to install it'self. I declined and it stated it would resotore my PC to Windows 7. However since then I have had trouble downloading even web pages on Chrome and firefox.

Does anyone have a simple fix for pc dummies?

Windows 7 home premium

Intel core i5 2400cpu@3.1GZ

Ram 8GB

Gforce GTX660ti

Hi and welcome to ExTS :)

 

Try a System Restore to a date just prior to the problem starting.

This will revert all of the system settings without affecting your files or data.

 

Click the Start button [ bottom left of screen ] and type in ....system restore ... hit Enter key.

 

Then follow these simple directions - click here

 

Don't accept the "suggested restore date" - select one that you know is earlier than the start of your problem.
