Unable to rename folder

I am logged as System Administrator yet told I do not have permission to

rename a folder. I created a folder D:\Documents & Settings instead of

Documents and Settings. What do I need to do inorder to acquire access

rights to rename the folder?

That's a system created managed folder. I wouldn't beat my head trying.
