Guest Woob Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 I have my computer set to check for updates everynight. The other day when I sat down at the computer I had the icon notifing me that an update was ready to install. I clicked on it to install and it went through the usual process. It said it was Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.0 Service Pack 3 (KB928367). I figured I was done but after a few minutes the update icon came back saying that an update was ready to install. I ran it and it turned out to be the same update again. This has happened several times. I tried rebooting right after the update was supposedly completed but when I was up and running again the same thing started again. I lost count of the times I tried to install. I searched for answers on the Microsoft site, on the web, in forums, and I'm perplexed. And I have an update supposedly sitting on my desktop to be installed. Can anyone help me out with this situation? I'd appreciate it.
Guest Woob Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 RE: Latest MS update (KB928367) doesn't seem to install I just went through my system log and found severals instances where this update was logged as ready to install followed soon thereafter by an entry that says this update was successfully installed. Now I'm even more confused.
