Guest jeff@customfitness.com Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Hello, I have Windows XP home edition, for some reason I am not able to save any files (whether they are new or editted). It will not allow me to Change the: Save In , File name, or Save as type - boxes, these are grayed out. When I go into Safe Mode I am ABLE to Save files. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank, Jeff

The other problem is that I cannot do a System Restore now. It will go thru the process, then on reboot says "System Cannot be restored to earlier date." PLEASE help.

In this way you can isolate the culprit. Make sure to physically disconnect your machine from the Internet during these tests.
