Guest Saeed Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Hi People I was working on windows when all of a sudden the system crashed and a blue screen came up i then started rebooting they system but it wouldnt i have put my xp windows cd to load up and repair xp but the message i am know getting it that it cant find the hard disk drives can anyone help with this please?

Could just be a loose cable, could be something worse. You need to identify the manufacturer of your HD and get the appropriate utility to diagnose the drive. -- Gary S. Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Re: Windows XP Professional Will Not Load Up Put the drive in another Windows XP system, configured as a slave, and see if you can view the contents of the drive that won't boot there - if you can see files and access them... you should back up your important stuff.
