Install "TweakUI for WinXP" (not recommended for Vista): http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx TweakUI > Explorer > Thumbnails > Size (pixels). -- d-d

You can do it using that. There is a registry setting, but offhand I can't recall the key.
