Guest speedy_mike Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 I need to download the .NET v2.0 for the ATI Catylist software. I'm currently at version 1. I went to the URL http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/netframework/aa731542.aspx to download v.2 and was presented with too many options. Is that the URL from which I'm supposed to download v2? Wat are they talking about with the different 'version's? How do I determine which version to download? Or, should I be looking somewhere else? Thanks much. Mike
Guest darkrats Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Re: Which .NET to download? You found the correct download link. The one you want is for: ..NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package And the version you want is probably: Download x86 version The other versions are for 64-bit systems, and chances are, if you had that kind of operating system, you'd know it. Think of Framework 1.0 and 2.0 as completely separate; the second is not an upgrade of the first, and you can have both versions on your machine at the same time. Your ATI software probably needs 2.0 to run. darkrats "speedy_mike" <mike@nospam.com> wrote in message news:469a1f5a$0$509$815e3792@news.qwest.net... >I need to download the .NET v2.0 for the ATI Catylist software.
