Guest Jen Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 WIN XP SP2 - Microsoft 2-button mouse occasionally 'loses focus' after typing just a few letters in a field. Must then re-click in the field to continue typing. What could be the problem with this?? ~Thanks!

That doesn't have to be a mouse problem. i.e., the mouse could be randomly clicking elsewhere on its own, possibly because of malware causing the problem, and causing you to lose the cursor in the previous field, but it's doubtful. Try this: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm Line 66. (r-h column) Prevent Programs from Stealing Focus - Undo -- Joe =o)
