Guest digimom Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 How can I create my auto restore points EVERY day? I leave my computer on almost all the time. I created one last night as my computer was working just perfectly but noticed that there were no other RP's prior to this, it frightened me. I would like it to create at least one restore point every 18 hours if possible. Prior to this there were always many days that did not contain RP's. It always creates one if I run Registry Mechanic.

Guest Bert Kinney Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Re: Restore point Hi, The most common cause of missing restore points is low disk space on ANY monitored partition/drive. The first step to take would be to determine if there are any partitions/drive being monitored other than the one Windows is installed on. If so, stop monitoring of but the Windows partition. How to disable a monitored drive: http://bertk.mvps.org/html/drivedisable.html Here are more troubleshooting steps to take for missing restore points: http://bertk.mvps.org/html/missingrps.html Regards, Bert Kinney MS-MVP Shell/User http://bertk.mvps.org Member: http://dts-l.org digimom wrote: > How can I create my auto restore points EVERY day?
