Guest Ron Badour Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Re: Reinstalling Windows Xp home edition Write to the computer manufacturer and see if they will provide you with a replacement disk for a nominal fee. Look on and in the computer cabinet for a sticker containing the product key. Is the hard drive in the PC still functional? -- Regards Ron Badour MS MVP 1997 - 2007 "Dave" <Dave@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:652A996D-5316-47EA-A47C-AE000B48B3B6@microsoft.com... > I'm installing a new Hard drive & need to reinstall Windows....the problem > is > that I don't have the oringinal Windows CD that came with the computer or > the > product key #.....can I purchase another Key or do I have to purchase a > new > OS CD??
