user has added to the computer.

You can enter any valid Universal Naming Convention (UNC) name or mapped

drive in the value of this entry.

And

NetHood

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

Data type Range Default value

REG_EXPAND_SZ

Path

%USERPROFILE%\NetHood

Description

Stores the path to the folder containing shortcuts to servers that the

user has added to My Network Places.

You can enter any valid Universal Naming Convention (UNC) name or mapped

drive in the value of this entry.

No, that's the information pertaining to the folders you asked about.

The Description tells what their use is.

Re: What are NetHood and PrinterHood used for?

My printerhood is empty and I do have printers.

I think I don't understand.

Are the shortcuts in the folder or in the Registry?

Thanks a lot
