Guest Thorny Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Hi Guys, I have a client running SBS2003 using Roaming profiles for about 10 users. They have been able to log on without issues for the last 3 months. Suddenly, last week, it started taking about 30 minutes to log in with a roaming profile. The DNS settings are pointing to the DC correctly and when I disabled the roaming profile and logged on locally, it only took a few seconds for it to log in. The XP SP2 pcs are receiving the following errors: Event Type: Error Event Source: Userenv Event Category: None Event ID: 1504 Date: 25/07/2007 Time: 4:41:11 PM User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Computer: SERVICE3 Description: Windows cannot update your roaming profile. Possible causes of this error include network problems or insufficient security rights. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator. DETAIL - The system detected a possible attempt to compromise security. Please ensure that you can contact the server that authenticated you. Does anyone have any ideas about what may be causing this or any possible solutions?
