Headset microphone not detected by computer

I have been using a Razer Blackshark V2 X for a while and it has been working fine. Recently though it has been having the problem of the computer not detecting the headset's microphone at all. I have looked and general and specific instructions on how to fix this but nothing I have done is working. As far as I know, nothing about the headset has changed and its audio (and hopefully) still works fine. I don't know when this happened or how.A short list of things I have tried: Checking system input, checking the Contol Pannel sound area, (It says the mic is not plugged in, but the headset only
