I have followed instructions from previous responses to this question (checked the USB setting, run SFC) but still no luck. Since until now I have always switched the PC off after use, I do not know if Sleep ever worked and if it did, when it stopped for me to try the rollback suggestion. My drivers are up to date. Does the state of Hibernate make any difference? A long time ago it was set to allow hibernation, but when the PC went into hibernation mode it hung, so I disabled it. I have heard that it is possible apps running in the background that can keep the PC awake. Is there any way to det
