How to stop windows updates

I have been asking this question for years, and no good response. Microsoft is going to get into trouble for enforcing updates. I see a class action suit in their future.Point being, purchased computers cannot be used with these updates. It is a terrible thing to have many people standing by, waiting to use their computer. Especially in certain industries.I have shut down the services, actually re-coded windows update binaries, and it still does updates.There has to be a reasonable solution out there.Does anybody have any working solutions ?Many thanks
