Is it okay if the updates in settings and dell support assist have downloaded but ive chosen to restart later for both then “shut down” my pc

Is it okay if the updates in settings and dell support assist have downloaded but ive chosen to restart later for both then “shut down” my pc the updates were not installing or anything at the time just downloaded
