So I feel like this is an exceptionally unique issue. All threads i’ve looked through have simply not addressed the actual issue. For some context, I just bought a new pc with a gigabyte motherboard. After windows installation, I realized my ethernet was not connected in windows but was plugged in with the same cable and everything as the pc i had used this morning. The issue isn’t a driver thing, but rather, the ethernet controller just simply does not show up in device manager. (yes i have enabled “show hidden devices”.
