Before starting this I knew NOTHING about pc’s but I finally got done building my first pc and tried starting it up. Entering the bios I could see the M.2 ssd was detected, but not able to be used as a bootable device. Looking online for input I had found to my very little understanding that the M.2 would not be a bootable device until windows is installed onto it. Following the steps suggested I have tried disabling/enabling fast boot, csm support, secure boot and my boot option priorities. I would restart my pc with the windows usb plugged in with no success. M.2 is the only storage device.
