How do I remove or change a child account with administrator privileges? MS Family won't allow changes.

While going through the Windows 11 initialization process on our new Dell desktop PC, we inadvertently added a child account. Our Family Group now consists of the single child account with no other family members and no other adults. This seems to be a catch-22 because we: (1) can't remove the child account; (2) can't add an adult account (requires permission of another adult in the family group); (3) can't change to child account birth date (to make it an adult); and (4) can't assign admin privileges to another account.I've been through all of the help I can find but haven't seen anything a
