Is there a whay to change the desktop folder path and have all file path dependencies readjust automatically?

Hi,My computer settings are set to English, but I noticed something odd about my desktop folder show in English in the navigation bar, but as soon as I click on it, It switches to French. I had tried changing the name through OneDrive, which didn't work and I tried relocating the folder path which worked, but all my applications that had workspace or other folder path dependencies on the desktop kept the French path.Do I have to manually change settings on each application, and if so, is there a way to extract a list of all apps that contain "Bureau" within theirs paths to same searching time?
