Time jumps backwards while PC is on/ being used

Starting on Thursday, the computer clock jumps back hours at least once an hour to random times. The computer is on, so I don't think it is a battery issue as in the past when the time stalls when it is off. I can be sitting looking at the computer and the time just goes backwards. We are using it as our home TV (running Windows 7 and Windows Media Center), so having the time be correct for recordings is pretty important. I tried system restore, malware/virus scan, changing the syncing settings, starting the Windows Time service, and running an SFC /scannow. The scan did say there were issues,
