Windows 10 Updated to KB5021233 now I can't listen to most podcasts online??

HI allSomething strange and highly annoying seems to be happening on my PC thanks to Windows update KB5021233, which installed Sept 16th. My fast and painless PC is now unable to play most podcasts, either a few minutes or at all. Yesterday was torture... the entire PC was slow and even the internet seemed to be cutting out. The only change was the background installation of that one update. I tried to uninstall but the task wouldn't complete!Thanks to some sort of change in 10, there are only 2 system restore points I can choose, and they are too soon to be of any help.
