I recently had a BIOS update on windows 11 and now I am not able to sign in.

When I turn on the computer, the login page offers me the option to enter my PIN (with no option to say Ive forgotten it.) When I enter the correct pin which worked before the recent update, I reive a message "This sign-in option is disabled because of failed sign-in attempts or repeated shutdowns. Use a different sign-in option, or keep your device powered on for at least 2 hours and then try again". There are no other sign in options available.How can I fix this issue? Thanks, Fred
