Guest f Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Hello, I am trying to do an integrated installation of Windows 2003 Enterprice with SP2. I can install fine the operating system using CD1 with SP2 integrated into it. After a fresh install using this cd the computer starts with SP2 already intalled. The problem is that when I try to run CD2, with SP2, I got an error that reads: "Setup cannot continue because the operating system edition is different from the Setup edition." If I try to use the original CD2, without SP2, I get: "Setup cannot continue because this product disk is incompatible with the service pack installed on this computer. To complete the installation of Windows Server 2003 R2, you will need to insert the laters version of Windows Server 2003 R2 Disc 2." To integrate CD2 I used the command suggested by microsoft (adjusting it for my environment): WindowsServer2003-KB914961-SP2-XXX-LLL.exe /integrate:Drive:\WS2003\x86\CD2 Both CD1 and CD2 are of the same version of Windows 2003. I can install CD2 just fine when I use both cds without sp2 integrated into them. I need DFS from CD2. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone know a solution for it. I googled the problem to no avail. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Regards, federico
