Guest zach4me@comcast.net Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 I have a DC that is currently running 2003 standard OS. I want to upgrade it to Enterprise. All other DCs are running 2003 enterprise. I would think I could simply do an os upgrade without disrupting AD. Can I just run the os upgrade or do I have do DCpromo to remove it from AD, upgrade os, and DCpromo it back? thank you Mitch

Guest Danny Sanders Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Re: AD controller 2003 standard to enterpise Makes no difference if it is a DC or a member server. If the upgrade is supported, it's supported if it is a member or a DC. hth DDS <zach4me@comcast.net> wrote in message news:1187657466.519565.79500@19g2000hsx.googlegroups.com... > On Aug 10, 11:05 am, "Danny Sanders" <DSand...@NOSPAMciber.com> wrote: >> You can upgrade Win 2k3 Standard to Win 2k3 Enterprise. >> See:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/810613/en-us >> >> hth >> DDS >> >> <zach...@comcast.net> wrote in message >> >> news:1186756242.178474.101970@g12g2000prg.googlegroups.com... >> >> >> >> >I have a DC that is currently running 2003 standard OS.
