Guest WallyG Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I created a custom MMC for a new network admin in our organization. I only want him to be able to manage a couple OU's in AD. It runs fine from the server I created it on. I emailed the custom MMC to him and it will not open. I even tried putting it in a share for him. Same thing. I tried running it on my laptop and it will not run either. I followed this tech article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/230263 Why won't it open on anything other than the server I created it on?

Guest WallyG Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Re: Custom MMC I don't want him to have the entire admin pak. I only want him to use the restricted AD Users and Computers MMC I created. Guest ThatsIT.net.au Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Re: Custom MMC You can still restrict him thought permissions and rights, you would need to do that anyhow "WallyG" <WallyG@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7888617E-489A-483F-993E-2A5149DD7F74@microsoft.com... >I don't want him to have the entire admin pak.
