whenever i charge my laptop it shows white light .hp laptop

well i have a HP laptop which while charging almost always shows white light at the charging spotwhenever the laptop is turned off and charged it shows orange light which is perfectly fine and when i start my laptop for a couple of minutes also laptop shows orange light in charging but after those minutes the light changes to white and laptop stops charging which and the battery stays as it is until i turn my laptop off i have checked running component test which shows the battery and adapter is perfectly fine and my processor is always cool so it cant be overheatingtoday i even tried checking
