Today I downloaded a malware mistakenly but it was instantly blocked by chrome. Is the malware still present in my system. Or should I run a Full Scan

A malware file was mistakenly downloaded in my system. But it was blocked by Chrome. When I checked protection history then it was showing that the threat was quarantined. Is the threat removed from my system. Or I need to remove it from the quarantined area also. Or it will be automatically removed from the quarantined area?
