If I send a message using phone link, what does the receiver of my text see?

If I’m messaging someone using phone link or myphone what does the person see as my contact info? How does this show on a phone text log? Also if the person has an iPhone, would they get an sms short code as my displayed contact? Do they need Microsoft to access the text?
