So my pc has windows 10 and an ssd of 480gb, and i want to connect and old hdd(it was from my old pc) which has windows 7 installed and some other programs. I want to access some files from the old drive (mainly photos) and maybe clean the disk and use it as extra storage. Is it as simple as plugging the drive on the motherboard and accessing the files from file explorer? Or do I have to do something else because there will be 2 disks with 2 different os's? I have seen many strangers on the internet suggest buying a usb adapter and using it as an external drive, but i don't want to do that.
