I need a new pc....idea's??

Sorry if anyone gets mad for me putting this here but i couldn't figure out what section to put it in.

 

I need to get a new pc but i'm on a tight budget.

 

Can't really afford to spend more than £400

 

I dont need it for anything extreme.

 

Just everyday use, watching films, listening to music.

 

Anyone got any tips?

I do have a spec for £400 which includes suppliers - do you want to include a monitor in the £400 or not?

are you keeping your existing speakers, keyboard and mouse etc.

let us know and I will post the info ;)

Yes it includes a monitor.

 

Well we do still have the keyboard/mouse ect but really just want a whole new package.

 

Could even be a laptop

You can not build a PC with a monitor of 20" really - I could tell you the components but you would have to build it yourself and it will be a much better spec than Dell or HP could offer you.

for the amount you have available, I would look on Ebuyer for a laptop

Heres something thats in your price range that you can just go into pc world and buy

 

Advent TC4002 Desktop PC. Cheap Advent home and office computers from PC World.

 

its nothing fancy to play games on but its got a pretty good spec for what you want to do with it.
