Guest Edward Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Current condition: Users have different access to a single Windows 2003 file server. They have 3 or 4 mapping drives on same server. No of user: 400 Purpose: If I want to implement search engine function on file server for them to retrieve file (A single page e..g Web page for all users). They could see search result files with their access permission only. Not show other users file under group or individual account. I do not want all users need to have desktop search engine on thier PC to query their mapping drive. Would windows Desktop search engine for server can handle it ? If not, any suggest solution to could handle it ?
