Guest SG Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 I have a windows 2003 server with exchange 2003 running and have had no problems until yesterday when the message queuing service has stopped and will not start. I have restarted the machine and checked the dependant service and all look ok but the service will not start and in the even log I get the following error.. Source Service Control Manager Event ID 7001 Cat None Type error The Message Queuing service depends on the Message Queuing access control service which failed to start because of the following error: The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. Can anyone suggest anything? No inbound or outbound email at the moment... HELP
Guest Meinolf Weber (Myweb) Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Re: Message queuing service Hello SG, Check out the dependencies of the message queuing service and the message queuing access control. Go to Start, Run, type services.msc and check the services.
