Hi

I have a xp pc showing "This copy of Windows did not pass genuine validation.

The product key found on this computer is a Volume License Key (VLK) that

has been blocked.

We have purchased the legal license and with the valid key.

How can i input the valid key again for that pc.

very strange.

Re: Geniue license

The Genuine Advantage Product Key Update Tool is only valid for users attempting to change

their current non-genuine Product Key to a genuine COA sticker or genuine Product Key -

all without a reinstall! see instructions

http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/selfhelp/pkuinstructions.aspx

The Key Update Tool will attempt an automatic internet activation but if that's not

possible, the key will be changed regardless and you'll have to telephone to activate.

No guarantees.

You need to use your _legitimate_ retail or OEM *full* (not

upgrade) license of WinXP Pro to perform a repair (a.k.a. in-place

upgrade) installation, using the new CDs and Product Keys.
